Recording Arts Degree

Every part of my degree program was designed to look, feel, and function as it is in the industry. Full Sail University's Recording Arts program prepared me for audio recording and production. I focused on the fundamentals of sound, music production, recording, mixing, and post production. During some courses, I had the opportunity to work in professional recording studios while recording live musicians. After completing initial recordings, I practiced mixing sounds and editing recordings.

Full Sail University has prepared me for a multitude of industry positions. Recording engineer, mix engineer, postproduction and game audio engineer, digital audio workstation operator and programmer, music/effects/dialogue editor, live-production engineer, and a variety of other positions in the audio industry.

Show Production & Touring

Full Sail University’s Show Production and Touring degree program was designed to incorporate career strategies throughout. I was introduced to the rapidly growing field of audio and visual technologies for the live-production field. The degree program familiarized me with professional audio, lighting, and video technology used by audiovisual (A/V) technician. Areas of study included breakout-room setups, video display systems, intercom communications, and video-switching procedures. I have used these skills throughout my career in corporate multimedia events.
